Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters... The chances for rain will diminish during the day today...as an upper level low moves across Texas. This will allow a surface trough over West Texas to push into East Texas...resulting in a westerly offshore flow later today and tonight. Onshore flow will resume late Wednesday as high pressure moves into the western Gulf of Mexico. Onshore flow will gradually increase through Friday night as the low pressure deepens. A cold front will push through the coastal waters Saturday afternoon with a strong offshore flow expected to develop Saturday night. There will be a slight chance of showers along the front.
