An intense low pressure system will drift slowly along the Labrador
coast today while a ridge of high pressure approaches the region.
Strong to gale force west to northwesterly winds will prevail between
these features. The stronger winds will bring cold air to the
district today.
On Wednesday a low pressure system near the Great Lakes will extend a
trough over southern waters. Gale force easterlies are expected ahead
of the trough while southwesterly gales are expected in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
Freezing spray warnings are in effect for fundy..Grand Manan..
Lurcher..southwestern shore..Eastern Shore..fourchu..Cabot Strait..
Northumberland Strait..Gulf-Magdalen..chaleur-miscou and Anticosti.
